Mini Update: Boat Updates + RoW Orders

Good Morning, Afternoon and Evening Backers!
Find below, a quick shipping recap with updated estimate docking dates:
CURRENTLY LOCATED: Suez Canal
EXPECTED DOCKING DATE: 18th September
North America:
The North America shipment has been sent on 2 boats, which are unloading at roughly the same time for a joint final journey to Bridge Fulfilment.
CURRENTLY LOCATED: Felixstowe (Destination Dublin)
EXPECTED DOCKING DATE: 15th September
ASIA/ROW:
We are now aware that shipping notifications have not been sent from Surfin’ Meeple. We are very sorry for the delay, it has taken longer than expected to get an answer as to why there was a delay.
We have been advised there has been a stock allocation issue between Gameland (manufacturer) and Surfin’ Meeple (fulfilment service). Today we have worked on and delivered a solution to Surfin' Meeple that involves Gameland air-shipping the shortfall to the Asia fulfilment hub tomorrow (8th September).
Surfin' Meeple have explained that they have not started the fulfilment run as their standard practice is to fulfil completely and not send out a portion of a fulfilment run to customers (regardless of how many customers in that run have their stock at the fulfilment centre).
We are working on getting the delayed items to SM as fast as humanly possible so that they can begin shipping copies out, as soon as we have a new timeline from them we will update you.
Australia / New Zealand:
We have asked Surfin' Meeple for an update on how close this shipment is to arriving at the Australian / New Zealand fulfilment hub. As soon as we have a date, we will post an update.

Mini Update: Boat information

Good morning, afternoon and evening backers,
As promised, here are all the shipping details now that the games are on the way. It took a little longer than we would have liked to get all this together for you as unfortunately Ningbo port has been affected by a typhoon so a lot of sail dates were moved around.
Shipping Details:
You can track all of the container ships on vesselfinder.com (I’ve put some links for each boat below to make it easier to find them)
Stock is with Surfin' Meeple, and they are still on track to fulfil by the end of August (so within the next 2 weeks). Don’t worry if you have not received any shipping notification from them yet as we are only just halfway through the month. If however you have not received anything by the first week of September then please email [email protected] and we will chase any outstanding fulfilment with Surfin’ Meeple directly.
Australia / New Zealand:
Stock is still on the way to the Australian Surfin' Meeple Hub, as soon as it arrives we will post a mini update to let you know more specifics on this fulfilment. Currently no change to the expected end of Sept / early Oct dates from the last update.
Other news:
We are still working on your requests to release the non-English language rulebooks. Due to the way these translations work we cannot simply post them up as the rights to those files belong to the publisher that translated them and we are still waiting for some of these requests to be granted. Our next update will be in two weeks and we should hopefully have them all by then, if not we will publish all of the ones that we can with the rest to follow.

Post Kickstarter Update #34: Fulfilment Update

Good morning, afternoon and evening backers,
We've held off with this update for as long as we felt we could- as there have been a lot of moving parts in the background and I needed to get as much clarification from the manufacturer and freight team as I could gather.
Asia + RoW Fulfilment:
Surfin Meeple China is handling Asia / RoW fulfilment.
Fulfilment is on track to complete by the end of its estimated August timeline. If you're currently awaiting your order, look out for shipping notifications from Surfin Meeple China.
(No vessel was needed for this segment of orders, it was handled via local pickup in China.)
Australian / New Zealand:
Surfin Meeple China is also handling Australian and New Zealand's fulfilment. These orders will be processed through their Australian hub when they arrive, currently they are in transit.
As soon as the games are at the hub, I'll include this information in an update. Historically we've found with Hogs Of War that this final transit time to the hub can vary quite a lot but we're hoping Australia and New Zealand can complete by late September / early October.
North America (Including Canada and Mexico):
Bridge Fulfilment will be handling North American fulfilment once the freight vessel has unloaded.
Our original sail date has been pushed back to the 10th August, this is later than we were originally quoted (and booked), but there is little we can do to bring this date forwards. (EDIT: Confirmed today 2nd August this is the final sail date).
On-sea transit time for the vessel booked however is very good (and if we can avoid any port strikes), we should have Senjutsu with Bridge Fulfilment for the week of the 5th of September which puts the game's fulfilment on track to be completed by the end of September as estimated.
Europe:
Broadsword Wargaming is handling Senjutsu Orders for Europe (Ex-UK). Broadsword will be shipping from the Republic Of Ireland.
We've currently got a sail date of the 8th August with a 5 week transit time, which puts door-to-door fulfilment in mid to late September if there is no delay with EU customs.
Europe is an especially large shipment, I am currently waiting on confirmation that all of the 40' containers are being loaded on the same vessel. Further information will be contained in the next mini-update.
United Kingdom:
The Stone Sword Games team will be handling fulfilment for the UK ourselves. We know our own product intimately and have a DPD postal account. Fulfilling Cosmoctopus for Paper Fort Games was a massive success with all UK games shipped within a couple of days of receiving them. We aim to replicate this success with the Senjutsu UK orders.
The UK Senjutsu stock is currently prepped to leave the manufacturer alongside Europe's, with the same 5 week transit time. It should put the completion date of door-to-door fulfilment in mid to late September. As with the other vessel names, as soon as I have confirmation I'll post it in the mini Update.
Final Address Changes + Backerkit Pre-orderStore:
I am setting the 11th August as the deadline for any final address changes (for all regions), please get us those changes by this date. Email [email protected] if you need to change your address.
We will be closing the Backerkit Pre-order store this Friday at 6pm BST (4th August). Post-fulfilment quantities of any excess stock will be calculated and added to our store before Senjutsu passes to retailers.
Vessel Names:
We currently have stock booked for vessels where we don't have the name of said vessel (despite chasing the freight team my end), but do have indicatory load and unload dates.
We've used this freight team many times before and the bills for freight have all been paid upfront so I am not worried about stock not being loaded for freight but it has been an incredibly infuriating process as I wanted this Kickstarter update to have a full spread of vessel names.
I will post a Mini-Update in the next week or so with the vessel names as soon as I've received them.

54mm Miniatures:
Here are some photos of the gorgeous 54mm Senjutsu miniatures. These 54mm miniatures are based off of the original, pre-manufacturing sculpts, produced in-house using our 8K printers and will be going out alongside your pledge.
If you want to play a 54mm version of Senjutsu, I'm very happy to share a print quality version of the Snowy Battlefield. This can be printed at the scale required (for personal use only). The team cannot wait to see these larger scale games!

Painting Guides:
Max has been busy producing painting guides for each Samurai from Senjutsu's Core Set.
All miniatures have been undercoated with Colour Forge sprays and painted using Duncan Rhodes' Two Thin Coats paint range from Transaltantis Miniatures. The painting guides helpfully include the equivalent paints for painting your Samurai with Citadel Paints and Army Painter Paints.
As an alternative to the print quality rulebook file we released in the last update, find a low-res, small-file version here.
Rulebooks in other languages require permission before we can share them, as the file is owned by the corresponding publishers. We will reach out and if we have permission, post any requested non-English Rulebooks in a future Update.
Next Update + Fulfilment:
Unless there's any major news, the next Update will be in 4 weeks time. In that Update;
We are fully expecting to be able to share the boat information for 1) UK, 2) Europe and 3) USA shipments, including scheduled load / unload dates.
We will also provide a fulfilment progress update for Asia / Rest Of The World. In 4 weeks time we are expecting that the majority of orders will be with their hubs or already in the post.
Shipping is complicated and there might be changes to the current schedule as soon as Freight, Customs and logistics gets involved but having this extra 2 weeks means we can be a lot more sure about the state of fulfilment.

UKGE Thanks:
The team are back from UKGE and mostly rested. Thank you to everyone who came over to say hello, it was wonderful meeting backers, showing off the Senjutsu production copies and talking about the upcoming Daimyo.
The show attracted record numbers of board game fans and proved once again that the board game industry is still growing and thriving despite recent setbacks.
Announcing Lucky Duck Games:
We're very happy to announce that Lucky Duck Games are bringing Senjutsu to English-speaking audiences post Kickstarter fulfilment. Lucky Duck have a fantastic track record and have a much larger, engaged team who will be able to support Senjutsu for many years to come, including bringing Senjutsu to retail.
Character Packs and the Core Set will be available from Lucky Duck post Senjutsu fulfilment.
We will also be working closely with Lucky Duck to support matched / tournament play, so watch this space!
Fulfilment Schedule: (+ Change Of Address)
Senjutsu is still on track for a Summer 2023 fulfilment.
Updating the previous update, for Asia we are estimating fulfilment to start at the end of June, finishing up in July / August.
Fulfilment for Europe, UK, North American and the Rest Of The World will start in July and run through to August / September, depending on unload times and customs clearance times. Retailers and licensees will then be given their stock in September / October - ensuring they do not have to wait long but also that Backers get their pledges first.
We continue to be happy to change your address, please send any requests to [email protected] . If you need us to hold a parcel or delay it, just give us a head's up and we will be happy to do so too.
Address changes can take place right up until the boat is unloaded / stock reaches the fulfilment hub. The only territory we need to impose a deadline on for address changes is Asia- please get us those changes by the 23rd of June as we begin shipping pledges shortly after this date.
Deadlines for the other territories will be stated in the next update.

InkDrop Miniatures + Rulebook:
It occurred to us there's still a few components we haven't fully shown off. The Ink Drop Add-On and final Rulebook!
To confirm, as we've had some queries, the Ink Drop Add-On applies Ink-Drop to all of the miniatures in your basket, including Terrain and all the miniatures in any character packs you may have picked up!
We've also tested the Ink Drop finish and can confirm that with a coat of primer, you can paint over the Ink Drop without any loss of discernible detail.
